Bhavtik had spent over 28 years of Corporate & Investment Banking experience in South Africa, the Middle East & Europe. He has been engaged in structuring major project finance transactions in sectors such as power (incl. Renewable Energy), water, oil & gas, telecoms, transportation, healthcare & industrial projects. He has worked on several deals in the Middle East and in several African countries. Bhavtik has been involved in executing transactions with an aggregate value in excess of US$25bn in his career.

Prior to joining RelyEZ, Bhavtik headed-up the Power, Utilities & Infrastructure team at Barclays Africa & Absa Bank, and prior to that was at GE Capital Markets Corporate as Region Leader for English speaking Africa .

A regular writer, commentator, speaker/ moderator at conferences on Infrastructure financing & Renewables in Africa, he is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant (UK), has an MBA and two Honours degrees.
