Chuxiong, Yunnan China – Nestled in the scenic “South of the Clouds,” a landmark energy project is set to energize Yunnan’s clean energy transition. The highly anticipated Yao’an RelyEZ 200MW/400MWh Independent Shared Energy Storage Station, like a powerful “green heart” ready to pulse, is scheduled to connect to the grid on April 30. Developed and delivered by RelyEZ Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. The Powerhouse “Super Battery”

Located in Yao’an County Industrial Park, this energy storage station represents a major investment of approximately 600 million RMB. With a massive 200MW/400MWh capacity, it exemplifies the shared energy storage model. The system can “swallow” surplus electricity during low-demand periods and cleverly achieve the “time-shifted” consumption of photovoltaic and other renewable energy. By storing abundant clean energy generated during the day or windy periods and releasing it precisely when the grid needs it, the project effectively addresses the inherent intermittency of renewables, significantly boosting their consumption rate and utilization efficiency, while ensuring a stable balance between energy supply and demand.

· Intelligent Brain (GridHub EMS): This advanced energy management system, a product of RelyEZ’s independent R&D, acts like a strategic commander—monitoring in real time and intelligently dispatching energy to ensure every kilowatt-hour is used efficiently and effectively.

 

· Robust Body (GridUltra5016 & Converter-Transformer Units): The project includes 40 sets of 5MW/10MWh lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage systems, supported by a 220kV booster station. Eighty GridUltra5016 liquid-cooled battery cabins work in tandem with 40 integrated 5000kW converter-transformer units. The state-of-the-art centralized liquid cooling technology maintains a cell-level temperature difference within 2.5°C, effectively eliminating weak points, improving overall system efficiency by 2–3%, and greatly extending the battery lifecycle. Importantly, this project will synergize with RelyEZ’s existing 2GWh energy storage manufacturing base in Yao’an to form a “dual engine,” building an integrated ecosystem of R&D, production, and application.
