Beyond the Battery: RelyEZ's Approach to France and Europe's Energy Future

Europe’s energy transition is changing what customers expect from energy storage. Battery capacity and equipment performance remain essential, but the wider challenge is making cleaner electricity available when and where it is needed and ensuring that each project delivers lasting value.

Europe’s energy transition is changing what customers expect from energy storage. Battery capacity and equipment performance remain essential, but the wider challenge is making cleaner electricity available when and where it is needed and ensuring that each project delivers lasting value.

France illustrates why these matters. By the end of June 2026, the country’s installed solar photovoltaic capacity had reached 34 GW, with 3 GW newly connected during the first half of the year, according to official government statistics.

As France’s solar capacity grows, the opportunity is to make better use of the electricity it produces. Solar generation does not always align with the hours when businesses need power most. Energy storage helps bridge this gap by storing electricity for later use, supporting greater use of renewable energy and more flexible energy management.

For RelyEZ, this means understanding each customer’s operating needs and bringing together storage technology, system integration, and ongoing support to address them.

An industrial facility may need to manage peak demand and make better use of its solar generation. A developer may be planning a standalone battery energy storage project. A microgrid or AI data centre may have different priorities for power management and resilience. Understanding those requirements provides the foundation for designing the right solution.

As an integrated energy storage system solutions provider, RelyEZ brings together hardware, software, and supporting services. Its experience in investment, project development, and manufacturing helps connect technical decisions with the commercial and operational needs of a project.

The company had delivered more than 13 GWh of energy storage solutions and products to over 100 customers worldwide.

This experience informs an approach that extends across project development, system delivery, integration, and ongoing operation. Each stage contributes to how effectively a storage asset serves its intended purpose over time.

In France, local partnerships are an important part of putting this approach into practice. RelyEZ has signed a memorandum of cooperation with local energy partners covering energy storage project development, system integration, and engineering, procurement, and construction delivery. The collaboration establishes an initial 500 MWh project pipeline targeted for 2027, with individual projects subject to further development and agreement.

The partnership creates a framework for combining RelyEZ’s technology and project capabilities with local market knowledge and delivery expertise. It also reflects the importance of working closely with partners who understand the conditions in which an energy asset will operate.

That principle extends across Europe, where electricity markets, site conditions, and project requirements vary. RelyEZ’s recently signed agreement with partners for a 120 MWh energy storage project in Poland further demonstrates its growing involvement in the region, covering the supply of energy storage equipment and technical support throughout project delivery.

RelyEZ’s participation in Solar & Storage Live Paris on 14–15 October 2026 at Paris Le Bourget brought these discussions into focus. The company presented its broader energy storage portfolio, including the GridUltra range and VenturePro 250, giving visitors an opportunity to explore solutions for different applications and project scales.

The team welcomed strong visitor interest, with more than 200 potential customers approaching the stand over the two days and some waiting to discuss their energy requirements. These conversations went beyond equipment specifications to consider how storage could fit into existing infrastructure, support operating priorities, and accommodate future needs.

The accompanying recap video captures conversations from the exhibition and includes a brief partner testimonial from Jean Renard, President of JR ÉNERGIE CONSEIL .

The discussions in Paris reflect the importance of considering energy storage as part of a complete energy system. RelyEZ’s offering spans standalone battery storage, commercial and industrial applications, microgrids, and AI data centre solutions. Energy management software and operational support complement the hardware, helping shape an approach around each customer’s requirements.

Technology has a practical role throughout this process. Coordinating generation, consumption, and storage can help customers use energy more effectively. Monitoring and operational services help owners understand system performance and respond to changing conditions throughout the asset’s life.

Energy has always supported daily life and economic progress. The task now is to meet evolving demand while building a cleaner and more resilient system for future generations.

For RelyEZ, contributing to that future in France and across Europe means bringing its capabilities together around the customer from the first project discussion through development, delivery, and operation. The goal is to turn energy needs into practical solutions that continue to deliver value over time.
